DIBF has implemented a strategy for special basketball developments and clinic for the Deaf in selected countries around the world with the aid of FIBA. This will include helping with basketball skills, physical and training program; setting up and running the Deaf teams, clubs, organisation, and finances.
The first ever - Deaf basketball coaches clinic / development seminar was arranged in Beijing, China in December 2002 with participants from six countries in the Asia Pacific region.
DIBF will continue to do more basketball developments around the globe over the years.
