Started up the Deaf Swedish National Basketball team for 1973 Deaflympic Games in Malmo, Sweden.
Participated in 3 Deaflympics altogether and won silver in Bucharest, Romania, 1977.
Started up the Deaf Women National team in 1983.
First as coach then lead the Sweden Deaf basketball - men and women teams to ranking no.2 in the world for more than 20 continuous years. An extraordinary feat for a small country of Sweden.

At the Institute she is in charge of teaching and training deaf and disable people in basketball.
Yue Tong has published 12 books and edit many papers in Chinese about training methods, coaching and physical development for basketball.
Attended the DIBF Asia-Pacific Deaf Basketball coaches clinic in December 2002 in Beijing, China.
Referee in National Deaf Basketball games arranged in the sixth Chinese Disabled Sports Games. Also at Melbourne 2005 20th Deaflympic Games.

Attending numerous of international deaf sports events – managing and guiding the Ghana deaf sports teams.
Attended DIBF Development Clinic in Lagos, Nigeria in 2003.
Have played basketball in Ghana and other sports in his youth but never had the opportunity to play internationally. His aims is to improve the quality of deaf basketball in Africa, to end the on-going corruptions and to fight for more funding support and awareness for deaf Africans.
